A very good clean copy of the revised and expanded edition of 1966 ; first published as 'Dymock, A Royal Manor ' in May 1950. Light blue cloth with blue titles. Endpaper maps of the area , fold over lists of Boteloe Hundred and Clerics and Vicars of Dymock. There are 32 pages of interesting and evocative photographs at the back of the book. There is a chapter on 'Thr Dymock Poets' with personal recollections by the Author. A very well researched and scarce book.
