Dealer Notes
The first edition of this Allan Quatermain (of King Solomon's Mines fame) title, the second in a trilogy by Haggard focussed on the collapse of the Zulu kingdom, and featuring the dwarf Zikali. The UK first in jacket seems uncommonly scarce, and this is a very good example.

Provenance: Julius Merle Simmons, collector of H. Rider Haggard and other authors in a similar vein (his bookplate to front pastedown).
Author HAGGARD, H. Rider.
Date 1913
