Publicity for these booksellers and stationers. The London Gazette for 9 March 1888 states that the partnership between George Edward Gardner, William Alfred Gardner, and George Branch (387B Mare-street, Hackney, and No. 34, Dalston-lane, in the county of Middlesex) dissolved on 1 March 1888 as George Edward retired from the firm. It then continued as Gardner & Branch.
