Published by His Majesty's Stationary Office, London, 1916, 1st edition. Rebound in half leather with marbled boards. Five raised bands to spine. Gilt lettering on black leather patch to compartment two. Gilt decoration to other compartments. No dustwrapper. 11ins x 8.75ins, title page, xxxvii, (i), 430pp plus frontis, 97pp photographic plates and a large coloured folding map. Also line drawings, plans and a map within the text. Very small embossed crest to title page and next two pages. New endpapers. A very attractive volume. VG.
