Half-leather quarto measuring approximately 25x29cms. Spine and edges worn with a small piece missing from the top edge of the spine. A little grubby and marked. 67 pasted down photographs of apparatus, equipment and a few horse-drawn fire engines manufactured by William Rose of Manchester. William Rose was a maker of fire fighting equipment including ladders, hose and various horse-drawn fire engines from the 1880s.
