Book Description

This is an old 1869 diary that the owner used for recording horse racing events during that year with pasted in pieces about the races and additional handwritten notes The diary measures 6.5 inches tall approx., and apart from printed matter which is part of the diary, it has over 80 pages used to record horse races, Another 4 pages at the front of the book list theatre productions that the books owner presumably attended. There are quite a number of pages that have been removed leaving page stubs, some are written on, this was presumably done by the owner of the book.
