With a key to 41 features including theatres, bridges, gates, monuments, gardens, walls, churches etc. and an inset panel with information about the history of ancient London. Based on the Agars plan of the 16th century. The whole of London is depicted in a bird’s-eye view from a point above the south of the Thames, with every building shown in a stylised manner and the hills and heights to the north shown by shading. Folds into original marbled slipcase with the Wallis label to the front. Map and case both in VG condition
