Cloth backed buff boards with gilt stamped titles to the spine, deckled endpapers. Early August 1924 xiii, 70pp with Cover design by George W. Plank: Early September 1924, xxiv, 84pp, Hariet Meserole front cover; Early October, xlix, 120pp with George LePape designed front cover; Early November, xl, 112pp with George LePape cover. There is rubbing to the spine with a 0.5 loss in cloth at the head of the spine and three small holes in the cloth at the foot. There is rubbing and staining to the boards but the corners and binding remain firm. There are also splits in the cloth on the rear joint of 0.5 and 1.5 cm. Small 1 cm closed tear to the fore edge of the front cover of the Early August Issue, a 1.5 cm tear to the fore edge of the rear cover of the Early September issue. Early October with corner crease to front cover and 2 cm closed tear to rear edge of back cover. Early November with 4 cm tear to fore edge of front cover with paper tape to verso and two further small tears of under 0.5 cm. There is also one photograph on p54 that has been cut out. The very edges of the magazines have been trimmed very slightly. An excellent historical resource packed full of advertisements and articles on fashion beauty, travel and culture. It is difficult to find 1920s Vogues in such complete condition as the front covers have often been removed for framing.
