ublished in Amsterdam, Netherlands in 1629 this is a lovely early miniature sized edition of Thomas More's "Utopia", Text in Latin, bound in a nice old full vellum binding with yapped edges, the book measures 3.5 inches by 2 inches approx., (95mm by 45mm approx.) with an engraved title page, and printers device at rear, 269 pages [3], the vellum has yellowed with some marking else is in good condition, internally two old ownership names, including Lord Kenyon of Gredington, the other is a little less clear, but a later member of the Kenyon family has put a loose note in the book where he thinks it maybe Simon Van Beaumont (1574-1654) the poet and botanist a few minor marks and one page corner crease else contents in very good general condition
