Book Description

1st Edition, 1st Printing. 12.7 x 20 cm grey cloth with gilt and orange stamped titles and decoration to the front and spine. Top edge mustard, fore edge uncut. Mustard endpapers, 215[1]pp in original unclipped dust jacket priced at $4.95. Clean boards with just a hint of fading to the very top and bottom edges. Internally clean, without name, inscription or bookplate. The dust jacket is lightly toned on the spine with rubbing to the spine tips, corners and edges. There is very minor chipping and a few tiny tears along the top and bottom edges together with some associated creasing. There is also a 1.3 cm closed tear on the lower joint at the head of the spine and one of 2cm at the head of the rear fore edge. The jacket is now protected in a removable, clear cover (not shown) and presents very well. All in all a relatively difficult to find 1st Edition copy of this unusual western that has been filmed twice.
