Book Description

Brown cloth boards with gilt lettering to front. Spine is missing. Has been replaced by strips of red cloth, which are starting to peel away. Needs rebinding. Corners bumped. Edges worn. Boards stained. End pages foxed. Lighter foxing throughout volume. FFEP and RFEP have both been poorly repaired with tape to prevent them becoming detached. Binding very loose, and pages becoming detached. Contains beautiful colour plates by Walter Crane. No. 283 of a limited edition of 750. a rare volume, though in poor condition. When securely packed this item will weigh in the region of 2270g. (YBP Ref: 020711:15)
