Folio. Limited edition. One of 750 standard copies (from a complete edition of 811). Bound by Smith Settle in quarter green cloth over floral-patterned paper boards. Matching cloth-covered slipcase. Tipped-in portrait frontispiece. Numerous illustrations throughout, some in colour and tipped-in. Spine faded to blue. Slipcase partially faded too.

Loosely inserted is a typed letter signed by Jeremy Greenwood to the subscriber apologising for the delay in publication due to a faulty first batch of paper and mentioning that they had met on an Aldeburgh trip to Russia.
