Original publisher’s green cloth, gilt, head and foot of spine a bit rubbed. Bookplate of the Church Association Library to front pastedown, their stamp at head of title, modern label of the Latimer Collection to ffep.

The first edition of this ‘topographical’ history of the Waldenses to the 19th century, narrated through a journey undertaken by the author through Piedmont, their place of origin. The author, Rev. J.N. Worsfold, was Vicar of Christ Church, London.
