Book Description
1st Edition. 160 x 240 cm purple boards with gilt stamped titles to the spine, 218(2) pp with 13 full page black and white illustrations and a purple ribbon bookmark. The book has its original unclipped dust jacket priced at £5.95. A near fine book clean and bright with firm sharp corners and just a hint of pushing at the spine tips. Internally the book has no name inscription or bookplate and is very clean. The dust jacket, which is now protected by a clear removable cover (not shown), has a little creasing along the top and bottom edges, a touch of rubbing to the corners and a tiny bruise on the front panel. All in all a lovely 1st Edition copy of this study of fairy traditions of the British Isles.
