In old full leather binding which has some light wear. Armorial bookplate to the front pastedown - Sr Rd Bempde Johnstone Bart. Staining to pages 256/7 and adjoining. Some browning and offsetting to the plates. Title page engraved. Although the date on the title page is 1786. the edition is later - there is a reference to a death in 1787 on page ix.
