First edition with folding table of Regimental Courts-Martial. Title continues "by a General Court-Martial held at Whitehall on Monday the 17th of October 1814 and continued by adjournment till Monday the 31st of October 1814. Taken by Mr W.B. Gurney short-hand writer to both Houses of Parliament." 8vo. approx. 8 1/2ins. X 5 1/2ins.
Dealer Notes
Several charges relating to neglect or abandonment of duty as Commanding Officer, once when the Regiment was foraging on 10th January 1814, once on the day after the Battle of Orthes on 28th February 1814 and again during the Battle of Toulouse on the 10th April 1814. In the first case leading to men being taken prisoner and in all cases hazarding the safety of others and other divisions.
