Heavily illustrated in gilt to the front board with titles, borders, fans, ferns and flowers, cherubs, peacocks and an eighteenth century lady and gentleman. Spine also has gilt titles with other decorative elements repeated from the front. Gilt to spine is slightly dull and there is a very small area of colour loss to the illustrator’s name on the spine.
