Book Description

Published in Oswestry, Shropshire in 1817, this is an extremely scarce seemingly unrecorded publication with no copies located in any of the main institutional library collections, nor the Shropshire Archives, a long narrative poem about the robbing of the graves of two criminals who were executed in Shrewsbury on August 17th 1817, running to 19 numbered pages plus the publishers colophon on what would be page 20, authors apology tipped in on preface page, title and rear pages soiled and marked, short tears to inner page edges, stitching loose with some pages nearly separated, else in good acceptable condition.
