Andrew Lang The Red Fairy Book 1907 format as 1st edition With numerous illustrations by H J Ford and Lancelot Speed. Frontispiece and 4 plates plus dozens of line illustrations within the text, 367 pages, all edges gilt. The tissue guard for the frontispiece is half torn away, occasional marks and small points of wear, otherwise the contents are very good, no inscription. 190 x 130 mm [approx. 7 ½” x 5”] red cloth with title and illustrations in gilt; the spine is dulled and fades with two small worn patches at the edges, slight marking else generally very good, binding firm.
