Book Description

A very attractive guide book, printed at The Amperzand Steam Printing works which was at 100/101 Micklegate. Illustrated with plates and a key map of the city. This year my stand at the York Book Fair (number 38) will consist almost entirely of guide books, travel, topography and maps. Many are local, like this one, but the collection stretches from Alaska to New Zealand and everywhere in between. It includes standard works from Baedeker, Murray and Cook as well as a great many more obscure works not generally available in commerce.
