Teg. 7ins x 4.75ins, xvi, 69pp plus frontis portrait and folding plate with example of authors handwritten text. Title page continues "Born 19th November 1893, Glasgow Academy and Sedburgh scholar of Pembroke college, Oxford. Lieutenant, Royal Scots Fusiliers, killed in action, St Georges Day, 1915". In 1914 he had won the Newdigate prize for his poem "The Burial of Sophocles" - the first poem in this volume. A little rubbed to edge of spine else VG.
