Purple* cloth boards, gilt decoration and title to front cover, no dustwrapper. 10.25ins x 7.75ins, [iv], 114pp plus 1pp plate. The words "subscribers copy" appear on the base of the title page. Concerning the three authors; the Rev Harris was Rector of Paglesham, the Rev Hatch was Rector of Little Stambridge and James Wiseman was an Oyster merchant. Replacement endpapers. Pages 21/22 torn and repaired without loss. First and last few pages very browned. *The rear board is mostly purple with some discoloration to one corner, the front board and the spine have faded to a more brown colour. G. Scarce
