Published by Hodder & Stoughton, London, 1913, 1st edition. Red cloth boards, gilt lettering to spine, large gilt panel to front board with red lettering and green decoration, no dustwrapper. Teg. 10.75ins x 7.25ins, x, 268pp including 50pp plates, each with a tissue guard captioned in red. Eighteen of the plates were painted by Jules Guerin (12 in colour). The others are black and white photographs. Previous owners name and date (1916) to front pastedown. Free endpapers heavily browned - rest of book nice and clean. Front hinge cracked but holding firm. Very slight wear to head of spine, overall a VG copy.
