In good condition spine split for 1" and a touch of loss at top, a little foxing to the contents mainly at front and back, name of previous owner written on inside of front cover and title page; VOLUME 2: 372pp, 3 plates, half leather boards. In very good condition, a little foxing to the first and last few pages, name of previous owner written on inside of front cover and title page and a little rubbing to the edges of the covers; VOLUME 3: 390pp, 5 plates, half leather boards.In good condition spine split for 1" and a touch of loss at top a little foxing to the first and last few pages, previous owners name on inside cover and title page and a little rubbing to the edges of the covers; VOLUME 4: 376pp, 7 plates, half leather boards. In good condition, spine edges starting to split (not serious), a little rubbing to the edges of the covers. The former owner has written on each of the title pages the authors name. The author was a well known travel writer from the 1800s, this collection is part of The Modern Traveller, a 30 volume set of books covering the history, geography and topography of many countries around the world.
