Book Description
The Marine Chronometer - Its History and Development by Rupert T. Gould (The Holland Press, reprint 1978), foreword by Sir Frank W. Dyson. Hardback in dustwrapper. pp [4], xvi, 287, plus b/w line drawings, plus b/w plates. Size: 8.75 x 6 inches approx. (222mm x 150mm). Dustwrapper rubbed and worn; sunned and faded to spine and front panel; tanned to spine and flap folds. Bumped to upper corner of boards; wear to spine ends. Age tanning to edges of page-block; occasional dustiness but otherwise pages appear clean throughout. Nonetheless, remaining a nice, clean copy in a worn and faded dustwrapper.
