Dealer Notes
There is a letter from Mrs Chesterton to a Mr Rubenstein dated November, regarding a delay in the production of the play. It claims the play will be produced on 11th of January but it actually debuted on the 19th at the Everyman Theatre. The letter has a 40mm rip in the top right corner with loss but not affecting text
The book is in excellent condition apart from a small amount of tape residue on the endpapers.
This is a rare stage adaptation of G. K. Chesterton’s masterful novel of suspicion and suspense, with an interesting letter from the authoress.
