Book Description

Octavo, 191 pages. This is the first UK edition published two years after the first US edition. The dustwrapper has a small piece missing at the bottom of the spine but is otherwise complete, albeit with a few creases. The book has a faded mark on the spine where the piece from the dustwrapper is missing, an inscription on front free endpaper and some foxing to fore-edges. According to the jacket blurb, one American critic described the book as "Caviar for the crime addict".
