[4], iv, 1-360, (13 unnumbered pages including first page of index), 370-380. Index is shorter in all later editions and other 1813 printing, presumed first printing. Frontispiece is not included in this edition or copy in Oxford University. Both have one plate. Soiling and repair to title page, else very good condition. Enormous variety of subjects be it making blancmange with isinglass, calculating the window tax or checking for chalk in the flour.
