Book Description
Portfolio, cloth-backed linen boards, containing 12 single-sheet reproductions of prints and drawings made in the 1950s and 60s by renowned American artist Andrew Wyeth. Unpaginated, 4pp loose introductory material by Lloyd Goodrich.
Andrew Newell Wyeth (1917 – 2009) was an American visual artist, primarily a realist painter, working predominantly in a regionalist style. He was one of the best-known U.S. artists of the middle 20th century. Wyeth's favorite subjects were the land and people around him, both in his hometown of Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania, and at his summer home in Cushing, Maine. He often said: "I paint my life."
