Dealer Notes
This history of the Federation Police was “written to provide an introduction to Malaya to newly joined Officers of the Force” (Foreword by Commissioner of Police A. E. Young). The three sections give a history of the Police, an overview of Malaya, and background and aspects of “The Emergency” - the anti- British guerrilla war that began in 1948 and lasted until 1960. The book is scarce, and we have located only 5 institutional copies on WorldCat.
