Regretfully, due to Covid-19, we have decided to cancel all fairs up until the end of September.
OUR FIRST EVER ONLINE THEMED BOOK FAIR IS COMING SOON...
Book Description
8vo. 4 volumes, set. Original red buckram, gilt. Top edges stained blue. All four volumes are quite foxed, especially the prelims and the edges of the blocks. Volume 1 has some old wormholes to the inner hinges. The top edge staining is mostly faded. The jackets are uniformly browned on the spines and have some foxing and small loss to the heads of the spines. Good + in good + d/ws.
Dealer Notes
This remains the standard edition and the volumes are available from Cambridge as paperbacks printed on demand. It includes Westward Ho, The Roaring Girl and The Shoemaker’s Holiday. Though the condition is less than perfect, this was a handsome production and complete sets are scarce.
