First editions, Volume 1 1915-1919, 1977, xxxvii + 356pp; Volume II 1920-1924, 1978, xii + 371pp; Volume III 1925-1930, 1980, xiv + 384pp; Volume IV 1931-1935, 1982, xiv + 402pp; Volume V 1936-1941, 1984, xiv + 402pp; each in maroon cloth boards with gilt titles to spines and unclipped dustwrappers. The books are in near fine condition, there is the same former owner's name to the front of each and there are some small splash/dust marks to the edges of the pages, not affecting the pages themselves apart from the edges of the first and last pages of Volumes I to IV. The dustwrappers are also in near fine condition, the spines to Volumes II, IV and V faded, more so to Volume IV as usual. The rear flap of Volume II has some minor marks and the rear panel/flap joint of Volume IV has a thin line of browning.
