The 'Deep In' View: a conversation with Alan Watts

Book Description
The first UK edition of this interview (first published 1965 in USA by Dust) with Alan Watts a key sixties figure who helped introduce Zen Buddhism into popular culture & was probably the earliest major Esalen figure to envision a deep synthesis of Western psychology and Asian Tantra.. The interview delves into his philosophy & observations on modern life. Watts anthologies are quite common but these early small press ones are scarce. Watts opened a lot of 60's minds to the possibilities of Buddhist thought, and sparked interest among Americans in Zen.
