Title continues "... Being an account of the Battle of Jersey with an Appendix of Historical Documents.” Contains 7 original sepia photographs of paintings depicting the people and scenes described in the book. Front hinge a little tender; 2" dampstain across lower edge of back cover, extending slightly around to lower front joint. Light staining to 2 facing pages (gutter cracked), contents otherwise clean and tight.

"Centenary of the Battle of Jersey 6th January, 1881". Including a record of the event, from the French invasion to their defeat. This was the last battle on British soil.
