Condition: Covers age-toned/faded and with a few marks. Minor wear and creases to corners. Acid-free tape applied to covers around the spine. Spine with title handwritten. Front cover with name in faded ink and another annotation/name has been ‘erased’. Inside front cover with bookplate of F. Cyril. F. Parker, Skirwith Abbey, Langwathby, Cumberland. Also, with a small ink-stamp with the same name. Binding overall is sound, but booklet opens flat in places. Corners of booklet slightly curled, so too early pages. Internally, lightly age-toned, a few minor marks but overall is clean.

First Edition may refer to note at the back which reads – ‘This pamphlet is founded on a paper originally read to the Hull Scientific and Naturalist Club, which was printed in the Club’s transactions, and subsequently reprinted.’
