Book Description
A beautiful book in lovely condition. Textured yellow covers with green & brown design and lettering to front cover. A touch of spotting to covers, really minor, and small crease to top of the spine but with that mentioned in excellent condition. With the most sweet illustrations and decorative lettering, in cream, green & black. Overall clean and crisp pages and slight offsetting to endpapers. Original unclipped dust jacket, overall clean and fresh with minor rubbing to panels and light chipping, creasing and edge tears as seen in photos. Unpaged. 'Those small children who found much enjoyment with the Jolly Robin (also his wife) and Velvet, the little black rabbit, will be delighted to meet Velvet's new friend Vicky or, more formally, Victoria. She and Velvet have the most enchanting adventures together and this book of them, with Hester Wagstaff's pictures to show just what happened, will most certainly find its way to the favourite nursery bookshelf in many family houses'.
