Wolff 2743. FIRST EDITION. With prize inscription to T.R. Wilkins dated 1860, and his later ownership stamp, The Grove, Longton, Preston, on half title. Mr. Wilkins, who was awarded this book 'for steady progress in mathematics and good conduct', evidently looked after it well. With binder's ticket of W. Bone & Son (Packer p.20) on rear pastedown.
