Clean copy of first edition (undated, but believed to be 1940's or early 50's) of children's story about a scarecrow. Although still attached to boards the pages of the book are starting to loosen from spine. Colour illustrations throughout. Colour illustrated hard card cover with title to front - cloth covered spine - some edge rubbing and age stains and marks to front and rear.
