Book Description
This is a fascinating book kept by Benjamin Busby, Slater & Plasterer, of Hook Norton in Oxfordshire, in which he records of all his slating and plastering jobs from 1826 to 1880, in 1879 his son Henry appears to have taken over the business, and the later entries are made by him.
The book has a month-to-month record of all the various jobs carried out in the Hook Norton area, with costings and materials used. To the rear of the book he has included an A-Z index of the names and places of his customers indicating which page numbers within the book the jobs he carried out for each client.
The places include Wiggington, Swerford Park, Sibford Ferris, Epwell, Shoel Farm at Epwell, Chipping Norton, Wiggington Rectory, Sibford Gower, Swalcliffe, Tadmarton, Bourton on the Water, Coombe Slade, etc

The covers are heavily darkened and detached, and lacks the spine covering, marking within else in good general condition for a book that was in constant use for over 40 years.
