1st IMPRESSION. 17 x 25cm later half leather with five raised bands and gilt decoration and titles. Top edge gilt, marble endpapers, 320pp with repeated footnote on p119 and p120 and the snippet 'From Hospital Days' on p299 (which was not in fact by Twain), with the accompanying errata slip tipped in. The book comes with a custom made slip case and is in near fine condition.
