Light staining to back wrapper and inner margins, else, clean. A very good copy of an early serialisation of Carson’s explosive exposé of the American pesticide industry.

Carson’s Silent Spring was published in the UK by Hamish Hamilton the following month, on 14th February 1963. Edited by Armond Denis, Animals magazine eventually became BBC Wildlife. [ref: 1388]
