original publisher's full vellum gilt binding now shows some old soiling / rubbing noticeably to the spine as shown - sometime 'cleaned' with too much enthusiasim - contents are clean fresh and tight but the plates which are printed on satin / silk are a slightly frayed to the edges with some loose threads - old circular paper ticket to the upper board - No 9 of 25 copies thus - no date c1885?
