Book Description
Racing Cups 1559 to 1850 | Coursing Cups by Sir Walter Gilbey (London: Vinton & Co., 1st edition 1910).
Hardback – publisher’s orange cloth with gilt title to spine and title and cup decoration to front board; colour endpapers; pages with all edges gilt. pp [4], 78, including b/w plates, 2 page list of author’s other works. Size: 8.5 x 5.5 inches approx. (218mm x 141mm).
Spine ends lightly bruised; cloth showing a touch of light shelf wear to extremities. Pages lightly toned to margins.
Overall, a nice, clean copy – quite lovely.
