Frontispiece photograph of the Author making paper laid-on to verso half-title with his signature. Foreword by Dr Dard Hunter. Illustrated throughout by Rigby Graham. With two illustrations with short quotes from the text on handmade paper by Rigby Graham tipped-in. Bound in white limp cloth with gilt titles to spine and gilt motif to upper board. Boards slightly marked, otherwise a Near Fine copy, as issued.

Amended and republished by the author from the 1959 Faber edition. Each copy of this publication was made up by hand to include actual specimens of hand-made paper by Mason; this copy has two such inserts, and is signed by Mason.
