Book Description

Original colour lithographic page from the 1904 calendar designed by Th. v. Hoytema. This hard to find page is for the month of April 1904, and illustrates a sow and her six piglets in a field. With an ornamental border of cloverleaves and other flowers. Below are the dates of the full moon, and the Zodiac sign of Taurus. Under cream passe partout. In very good condition. 440 x 210 mm (17¼ x 8¼ inches). Whole item including passe partout: 600 x 270 mm (23½ x 10¾ inches).
