Book Description
First edition in book form, first issue with 'pricipal' for 'principal' (Vol II, p. 115, 14 lines up), and the 3 page postscript at the end of Volume 2. Rebound in 3/4 leather, marbled boards, spine labels, gilt lettering, new end papers. A little thumbing to a few margins, one plate neatly repaired and re-backed, small private library stamp to title pages (see photographs), corners slightly bumped. A pleasant set.
