Regretfully, due to Covid-19, we have decided to cancel all fairs from May to August. Keep checking our website for updates.  Unfortunately, we have also had to cancel our York National Book Fair in September.  More details on our Facebook page.
Book Description
Three original engagement diaries printed by Photochrom from 1943 to 1945. All 3 are in near fine condition or better. The 1943 copy has minor wear to 1 corner and the 1945 copy has a couple of fox marks to the bottom txt block. All 3 have no previous owner's ink inside so all have not been used. The diaries are packed full of photos of churchill and every page has a quote from one of his speeches.
Dealer Notes
The first of the 3 diaries is larger - around 5 inches tall. I assume that it didn't quite fit in a pocket so well. So Photochrom printed 2 smaller diaries to deal with this issue. The items were almost certainly distributed to the population to instil some confidence and provide some positivity. The items are fragile though so the diaries are scarce to find now and especially so in this condition. A really nice set in near fine condition.
