Facsimile reprint by Darf Publishers of the 1817 2nd edition published by Henry Coburn. 376 pages, map, 6 colour plates, in dustwrapper which is very slightly faded on spine, also minimal foxing on top edge. Otherwise in near fine condition. Neat inscription on top of front endpaper. Tully was the British Consul in Tripoli. The correspondence is written by Tullu's sister-in-law and gives an account of the Court of the Bashaw of Tripoli, and also manners and customs of the Moors in general.
