Book Description
1st Edition, 1st Impression. 13.9 x 17.9 cm paper covered boards with white titles to the front and spine, a white vignette to the rear and a colour illustration to the front. Blue and white pictorial endpapers 70[2]pp with 18 full page colour illustrations and illustrated title page. The book has its original unclipped dust jacket with the publishers 4/- net price sticker placed over the original 3/ 6d price and six books listed on the front flap as called for. A near fine book, clean and bright with just a hint of rubbing to the spine tips. Internally the book is without name inscription or bookplate and has no spotting or marking. The dust jacket which is now protected in a removable, clear cover (not shown) has just a hint of rubbing to the spine tips and a touch of toning to the very top edge of the two flaps. There are three closed tears of 0.5 - 1cm along the top edge but it presents very well in its clear, removable, protective cover. All in all a lovely first edition copy in beautiful condition that appears unread.
