Book Description

First edition, frontispiece, xix + 312pp., numerous plates and diagrams throughout, green pictorial cloth covers with titles blind-stamped in gilt to the front cover. The contents is in very good condition, just a bit grubby / a touch foxed here and there. Covers very good with a little general wear and they have a hint of mottling. This delightful, and early, text on the motor car covers subjects such as the choice and upkeep of a car, touring, how to drive, brakes, steering, petrol and materials and other compontents. It is richly illustrated also, with numerous diagrams and photographs to illustrate the various sections. Berriman's book on the subject of aviation is quite common, but his book on motoring is scarce.
